| The
Wind Is Talking sounds very similar to the precedent Damon Edge record
Alliance. With music that has psychedelia in a pop yet underground form.
And words that embraces a cut-up style near non-sense ("I can see
the explorer's mind / I've been looking at it all the time"). There's
some Iggy Pop from space (Exploring You), pumping road music (Down The
Road), Eno-esque analog ambient (Wind is Talking) and Helios-Creed-flashback
riff (I Don't Know Why). Crucial album for acid rockers at night. |
